Research Vannin’s goal is to facilitate collaboration between on and off-island researchers, promote the reputation of island-based research, and educate through the provision workshops. UCM’s Research Panel provides oversight for the work of Research Vannin but the hub is very much generated by and for users and Members (link to Become a Member of Research Vannin)

Specifically:-

Aims

• Promote the value of research on the Isle of Man and its application
• Connect the Island's research community
• Create a hub especially for research resources and support on the Island
• Develop the Island's environment for research
• Link research needs with researchers
• Provide an open-source repository for Manx research 

The UCM Research Panel has oversight of Research Vannin, UCM Research Ethics & Governance and many of our events including Annual Research Festival.   The Research Panel is:
